My career is a fusion of management experience enabling me to move adeptly through project delivery issues while facilitating strategic alignment and growth/transformation. Here's how I phrase it:
Dori's versatility energizes optimal project delivery in shifting business contexts.
I have a unique blend of change management, project governance and executive communication skills to help establish, grow, and manage an adaptable project management delivery function.
I define Project Management as encompassing project day-to-day or weekly operational tasks.
Project Delivery Optimization (PDO), on the other hand, aligns project operational standards and business objectives in weekly to quarterly oversight tasks. It's a different skill set from Project Management.
Optimizing project delivery may include integrating change management, developing ongoing relationships with teams/business units, and ensuring a robust, responsive, and flexible project delivery function to close the strategy-execution gap.
Over the span of my career, I've learned how to deliver end-to-end systems that fulfill the execution promise. I also accept that change is a normal part of doing business, and that it's best to use resources for projects that bring the most value, even if that means putting one on hold.
With project and product delivery management as a foundation, I integrate change management and user adoption along with superb communication skills - speaking, writing, and listening.
Bonus: I learn from multiple sources, even through the experience of others, and I'm an autodidactic learner. This means I ease into learning business environments.
I align with stakeholder needs that I learn from listening to key staff, partners, executives and peers. I naturally want to continuously improve to make processes and interactions more efficient and responsive to change.
In this Zoom story I facilitated customized solutions for specific stakeholder groups like executive assistants, the marketing team, and the regional CIOs.
Most of these talents were used in a project where I led adoption efforts in collaboration with an adoption project manager and a trainer. We onboarded about 30,000 people to the Zoom meeting platform in 60 days.
