Posts in three parts on my predictions for PMOs in 2026. The first post reviews the systems that will be sparked, the second post shares how the PMO will show up in partnerships, and the third post is the mindset behind sparking the actions that will bring about, in 2026 and beyond, fully aligned PMOs that demonstrate high value in project and portfolio decision making.
The first one, posted on December 23, 2025 was my top post to date in impressions. The confirming comments, like "a grounded set of predictions" came from other thought leaders and executives.
The second and third posts had great response, too.
- "I like how you’re positioning partnerships as enablers of judgment and value, not just interfaces between functions."
- "What stood out to me is how every one of these mindsets asks PMO leaders to shift from managing projects to managing themselves first."

This is a three-part series on LinkedIn on integrating Project Management and Change Management. In the first part, I discuss what Organizational Change Management is and why it’s important to know about and integrate with your projects, the second part explores ways to incorporate it, and the third part goes into more detail about the sources for the suggested practices while describing how people react to change and how it’s managed.

Over the years, I have seen gaps in how risks are identified and categorized in project management, so this article covers overcoming barriers in risk identification and widening the lens while considering risk.
Based on my own observation and experience, I summarize options for skills agility and project prioritization as it relates to resourcing.

Project Benefits Realization was a discussion topic at a PMO Mastermind group. I didn't have direct experience, and when I researched it, the models seemed so complex and heavy! So I simplified it and came up with an efficient way to start a Benefits Realization Program. Let me know if I missed anything in the comments on LinkedIn.
Starting a Benefits Management Program
After obtaining my certification in PMO-CP (Project Management Office Certified Practitioner) from Project Management Institute (PMI), I distilled their 30 benefits into a need for PMO leaders to have Communication Agility Skills as a key in delivering benefits to the organization.
