“Leadership is holistic. The way we show up in business shapes the humans we become.”
-Dori Gilbert
I’m Dori Gilbert, and I’ve spent my career inside the messy middle of growth where products evolve, teams stretch, priorities collide, and limits become impossible to ignore. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across project leadership, technology product and deployment enablement strategies, marketing and communications, and organizational alignment. What I learned is that every challenge, no matter how complex, comes down to the same thing: people trying to move forward without a clear path.
I became a Next Step Architect because this is the work I’ve always done instinctively. My Top 5 CliftonStrengths (Strategic, Self-Assurance, Learner, Ideation, and Futuristic) reflect how I’m wired: I see patterns quickly, I anticipate what’s coming, and I help people make sense of what feels tangled or overwhelming. I’m certified as a Project Management Office Certifed Practitioner (PMO-CP), a Change Management professional, a Product Portfolio Management professional, and a Listening Intelligence Coach, and these disciplines allow me to blend systems thinking with human insight, structure with intuition, and strategy with empathy.
I support Project Leaders and PMOs through my enterprise brand, Kite Agility. This is where I help organizations create clarity across teams, projects, and systems so work can move forward with less friction and more alignment. Whether the challenge is communication, prioritization, or navigating competing demands, I help project leaders see the patterns beneath the surface and build the structures that support sustainable delivery.
Whether I’m working with a founder, a project leader, or any professional changing direction, my role is the same: to help you see what’s really happening, name what matters most, and take the right next step with confidence. I believe clarity is both practical and deeply human, and when you have it, everything else becomes easier to build.
I’m someone who makes sense of the world through writing. Much of my work explores the human side of leadership: limits, identity, clarity, invisible dynamics, and the emotional signals that shape how we move through work. If you want to understand how I think, these pieces are a good place to start.
These leadership principles are at the core of my Kite Agility model.
